Full Charge Bookkeeper – Daly City, CA
*Manage financial aspects of all company processes, from generating purchase orders to billing and collections
*A/P – enter bills, cut checks, resolve payment issues (missing checks, incorrect invoices, overcharges from vendors, credits due from vendors)
*A/R – enter client invoices, track payments, generate statements
*Maintain calendar of information filings and payments (estimated tax payments, information returns such as W-2s and 1099s)
*Prepare and submit information filings and payments
*Bank account reconciliation
*Credit card account reconciliation
*Process client refunds
*Prepare reports and statements as needed for Company President
*Prepare reports for CPA to do tax returns
*Maintenance of financial files
*Process weekly payroll
*Process payroll tax returns and payments when due
*Manage the transition to new operation technologies for accounting and administrationCorporate
*Maintain calendar of corporate filings due
*Maintain corporate files and record books
Office administration
*Maintain calendar of renewals for support agreements and contracts, ensure timely renewal
*Manage asset files
*Manage applications and hardware disk library
*Manage contracts files and renewals
HR
*Prepare and process new hire documents
*Prepare and process employee exit documents
*Copy and distribute notices as prepared by CEO
*Update required postings with information prepared by HR
This job requires:
*A minimum of five years of small-business full-charge bookkeeping experience
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
*Experience managing corporate files and information filings.
*Flawless organization and time management skills.
*Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-resolution skills.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Computer literacy on Windows systems.
In addition, the following are a plus, although not absolutely required:
*Bilingual, with strong English and Spanish fluency.
*Experience with Mass90 or Edible
