This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting SFRecruiter.com, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us. We want to be sure you feel comfortable sending us your resume when you see a job that interests you, or when you contact us about recruiting services.

ALL VISITORS

We do not automatically collect any information about you during your visit to this site by using cookies or any other automatic means. Not your IP address, your geographic location, your screensaver tagline – nothing.

If you choose to contact us, we then have your email address or other information you include in your email message. We will use this information only to contact you in response to your inquiry. We will not add you to any of our email or other contact lists unless you specifically request that we do so.

We do not share any information about our clients, candidates, web site visitors, or anyone else with any other entity, unless specifically required to do so to comply with the law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SFRecruiter.com, our employees, clients, candidates, visitors, or others.

We do not share, rent, sell, or trade any client or candidate information with any outside organization. We do not share, rent, sell, or trade our mailing list, nor do we allow others access to it for any reason. Any information given to us is used only for the specific purposes for which you supply it to us.
EMPLOYERS

Except when you have requested contact information for a candidate and they have expressed interest in interviewing with you, we do not share your name, contact information, or other company information with anyone. Ever.

Eventually we may find the time to do an occasional newsletter, or maybe learn enough about webmastering to do fancy interactive stuff. We won’t sign you up for anything on our site just because we have your email address. If/when we get around to those projects (or others like them), we will send you an invitation to subscribe, at which time you can choose whether to opt in. We won’t spam you, or give your information to anyone who would spam you.

CANDIDATES

If you choose to submit your resume and contact information as an expression of interest in a job posted here, and your resume is a fit for a current opening, we will not forward your resume to a company for review until you have agreed that we can do so. Your contact information will be provided to a company only when that company has expressed interest in interviewing you and you have agreed to interview with them.

A company may ask you to complete an application for employment, and may request reference checks and/or a background check as part of the recruiting process. Reference checks may be conducted by one of the company’s employees, a third-party business, or by one of us, depending on the company’s preferences. Investigative background reports (aka “background checks”) are performed by third-party businesses at the company’s request, and the company must have your signed consent before any such background check is performed.

The results of those checks are given only to the requesting company; confidentiality of this information is the responsibility of the background check service and the hiring company which receives the report. You are entitled to a copy of any background check performed; the disclosure form the background check service gives you should contain all the information you need to obtain your report and their privacy policy. The hiring company is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all of your information (resume, application, reference and background check reports, etc.) which is provided to them. You should check with the individual hiring company at the time of interview if you have any questions about their privacy policies and practices.

We do not share your resume, contact information, or other personal information with anyone other than as outlined above. Ever. We don’t like getting calls from people we’ve never heard of, and we don’t imagine you do, either. If you’re not a match for a job we’re working on, but you are a match for a job one of our recruiter colleagues is working on, we will contact you to put you in touch with the recruiter – we will not give the recruiter your information unless you specifically say we can do so.

Eventually we may find the time to do an occasional newsletter, or maybe learn enough about webmastering to set up an RSS feed so you can find out about new jobs when they’re posted. We won’t sign you up for those just because we have your email address. If/when we get around to those projects (or others like them), we will send you an invitation to subscribe, at which time you can choose whether to opt in. We won’t spam you, or give your information to anyone who would spam you.
